Digital Marketing and Visual Content Specialist
Mission
The Professor Courtine's laboratory at EPFL are looking for a creative and autonomous Digital Marketing and Visual Content Specialist to craft and share compelling stories about our scientific and clinical work, aimed at diverse audiences across digital platforms.
Our mission is to conceive and deploy innovative interventions to restore motor functions after central nervous system disorders, especially spinal cord injury and to translate our findings into clinical applications capable of improving the quality of life for people with motor impairments.

Main duties and responsibilities

Conceive, script, produce, film and edit immersive and short-form video content adapted to social media and digital platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)

Write, produce and edit original content that highlights both fundamental research and clinical projects

Participate in field shoots, including laboratory sessions, clinical settings and interactions with patients

Ensure post-production and adaptation of content across platforms, maintaining high-quality storytelling and visual consistency

Collaborate with the design team to develop a coherent visual identity across communication channels

Define and implement an editorial strategy tailored to each platform and target audience, in coordination with EPFL communication teams

Plan, schedule and monitor content publication

Identify and adapt key messages to engage specific audiences and anticipate emerging communication needs

Analyze engagement metrics and continuously refine the content strategy

Liaise with media relations teams to identify high-impact stories and propose visual formats suited to traditional and digital media outlets
Profile
-
Degree in multimedia production, digital communication, journalism or a related field
-
Proven experience in creating, filming and editing digital content, especially short formats for social media
-
Strong storytelling and writing skills, with a keen visual sense

Mastery of production tools (Adobe suite or equivalent)

Ability to work independently and proactively in a multidisciplinary, research-driven environment
-
Fluency in French and English

Interest in science, technology and medical communication
