Mission

2 postdoc positions are available in Laboratory of Supramolecular materials and interfaces (SUNMIL) at EPFL, Switzerland on the topic of Protein-Protein interactions.

SuNMIL (Supramolecular Nano-Materials and Interfaces Laboratory) is a group of researchers that combine multiple backgrounds and integrate various disciplines to create and investigate novel materials that tackle the experimental investigation of supramolecular interfaces.

Main duties and responsibilities

Working and collaborating on research projects.
Analysis and publication of results
Build a strong network in the field of research
Participate in education, and PhD and master student supervision

Profile

Motivated candidates willing to work on a challenging project at the frontiers of what we understand of protein colloidal stability
Solid background in colloidal science, and/or physical chemistry, and/or molecular biology is required.
Track record of published research in relevant areas
Strong leadership and collaboration skills to mentor students and contribute to ongoing lab projects
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Strong motivation to explore new research domains
Good team spirit
