Mission

The research focus of  the postdoctoral position in ‘Dispersive PDEs or related subjects’ is centered on advancing the knowledge in the following domains:

  • Dispersive PDE
  • Harmonic Analysis, Spectral Theory, aspects of Control Theory, various Applications.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Working and collaborating on research projects. The precise research topic(s) will be discussed with the successful candidate depending on their background, expertise and affinities
  • Analysis and publication of results
  • Build a strong network in the field of research
  • A modest amount of teaching.

Profile

  • PhD (or nearing completion of) in pure Mathematics, and more specifically the area of dispersive PDE or related subjects.
  • Publication record (relative to your career stage) in internationally leading journals
  • Independent, creative, and solution-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Strong motivation to explore new research domains
  • Good team spirit
