Mission
The research focus of the postdoctoral position in ‘Dispersive PDEs or related subjects’ is centered on advancing the knowledge in the following domains:
- Dispersive PDE
- Harmonic Analysis, Spectral Theory, aspects of Control Theory, various Applications.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Working and collaborating on research projects. The precise research topic(s) will be discussed with the successful candidate depending on their background, expertise and affinities
- Analysis and publication of results
- Build a strong network in the field of research
- A modest amount of teaching.
Profile
- PhD (or nearing completion of) in pure Mathematics, and more specifically the area of dispersive PDE or related subjects.
- Publication record (relative to your career stage) in internationally leading journals
- Independent, creative, and solution-oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong motivation to explore new research domains
- Good team spirit
