Postdoctoral Position in Mathematics

Mission

The Chair of Representation Theory (headed by Prof. Andrei Negut) at EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland) is offering a 2-year postdoctoral position.

Main duties and responsibilities

You will be collaborating on research projects in or around the following fields: geometric representation theory, quantum algebras and integrable systems, categorification and quantum link invariants. Candidates will be expected to actively contribute to all departmental activities as well as to various teaching and grading duties.

Profile

  •  Candidates should have (or be near completion of) a PhD in mathematics with an excellent research track record. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. French is not a requirement.

  • This is a 2-year appointment, subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance at the end of the first year.
