Video & Educational Media Specialist
Mission
The Center for Digital Education (CEDE) at EPFL is looking for a creative, motivated, and technically skilled Video & Educational Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education, multimedia content creation, and emerging technologies in digital learning.
About the Role
As part of a small, collaborative team, you will contribute to the production of high-quality educational media, supporting EPFL’s academic community in transforming their teaching practices. You’ll work closely with professors and educational designers to develop engaging video lectures, interactive multimedia resources, and AI-enhanced educational content, including avatar-based video lectures.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Record, edit, and produce educational videos and multimedia content in our studio and on location across campus.
- Advise on and operate the latest recording studio equipment and software.
- Experiment with and integrate AI-driven tools for education, such as avatar video generation and automated content creation.
- Collaborate with faculty and instructional designers to conceptualise and realise multimedia solutions for online, hybrid, and on-campus teaching.
- Manage multimedia projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our media production workflows and infrastructure.
Profile
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in video production, post-production, and multimedia editing.
- Familiar with the latest recording studio equipment, video editing software, and digital media tools.
- Experienced in the use of AI technologies for education and digital learning innovation.
- A team player with excellent communication and strong project management skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful, with a proven ability to manage a high volume of tasks and projects independently while consistently delivering high-quality work on time.
- Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
